It’s cool looking but I’d fucking kill myself if I had to live there

They obviously don’t own a cat. Otherwise that stair runner would be TRASHED.

At first I didn’t like that mirror but then I saw it matches the tiling orange and it’s simply amazing!

what a tiny little staircase!

Guess I’m the unpopular take here, do not like anything other than the cornice detail. I especially dislike the floor tiles. I would even think this is the ‘before’ when the title mentioned renovation.
I really hate that floor lol

Nope. Too much going on without coherence.

This is a weird one…
I like *most* of the elements in that house (not all of them), but by themselves. I don’t like them all in together. For example, I like the colour of the kitchen cupboards, and I like the orange tile backsplash, but I would put them in completely different kitchens. Sorry, but I just don’t like that pink marble kitchen benchtop at all, let alone in the same kitchen as the blue cupboards and/or the orange tiles. Ditto in the bathroom, I like the green shower, and I like the basin, but absolutely not right next to each other in the same room.
It’s like the owner or designer has great ideas and a good eye for colour, but couldn’t spot where the line between just the right amount and too much should be drawn, and decided to jam it all right on in there.

[More pics and information](https://www.domino.com/design-inspiration/colorful-east-london-home-sophie-gunning/). [Designer website with even more pics](https://projecthome.uk/projects), but I don’t know if those extra pics are from the same house, as they didn’t bother to separate those by projects. I like the striking colors in the [kitchen](https://i.imgur.com/1b1Yzxc.jpg) and [child’s bedroom](https://i.imgur.com/xQY08Pw.jpg). [The skylights in the living space are pretty nice, too](https://i.imgur.com/SDkqUOo.jpg).

Beautiful!
