“Probably the best Modern house in the world” is how this incredible property was described in an article in The Sunday Times. Designed in 1962 by Jorn Utzon, best known for his world-famous design of the Sydney Opera House. [1600×1068]

This is so cool
I fail to see how this is better than hundreds of thousands of modern homes of its ilk.

Best modern home on the block?
Looks like the farnsworth house near Chicago
It may be an article in the Sunday Times but it’s still one person’s opinion.
When I first saw the Sydney Opera House, and zoomed in to get detailed pictures, I was surprised to find that the exterior surface is textured and looks like metal. In fact, that was the picture most people got excited about because it looks like a very soft and smooth concrete or something from a distance.
I don’t know what the pattern is called but it was like a geometric pattern of diagonal lines. It was a beautiful surprise.
