Last day of a trip to Europe and with a close friend it felt right to enjoy something special. Paired with a perfectly cooked Wing Rib of Beef, it worked beautifully.

I’ve enjoyed 100% Ploussard wines before such as Tissot DD but not sure if I’ve had a blend of Ploussard and Trousseau.

With some time to shine it was showing acidity, strawberry, bramble, cherry and herbs. Certainly a familiar taste but flavours came through that I’ve certainly not had memory of drinking a jura red.

Enjoyed at the Clarence Tavern in London. Paid 149£ from their list. The food and wine menus are great and would recommend if you are in London.

Always wanted to try this one but damn, can’t justify spending that much on a bottle. I’m sure it’s great though.

Btw, Tissots DD is a blend of Poulsard, Pinot Noir and Trousseau.
