“Petillant Blanc” 2022 by Bencze Birtok. We are on Mount St. George north of Lake Balaton in Hungary 🇭🇺
Grapes: Chenin Blanc, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir from volcanic soils. Steel only. Bottled with a residual of 16.5 gr/Lt where fermentation continues.
Precision and cleanliness. On the nose hints of apple, subtle pear, grapefruit juice and lemon zest, some hints of dairy.
Ample acidity, excellent creaminess with a fairly slender body.
I don’t usually drink pet-nats for personal taste, but I definitely enjoyed this one!
