I love it! It’s elegant and soothing. Too formal for my personal taste, but I love the use of color, the symmetry, and of course the architectural details.

They should have painted the molding on the wall black to balance the black door way, or better yet put a mirror there. I like that they kept that same shape, but it just feels uneven to me, and actually bothers me more than it probably should

  3. I travel to Vietnam a ton and try to stay in Hotels with this style. If you want to see them, check out Mai House in HCMC, Mia Saigon Boutique in HCMC, or Peridot Grand Luxury in Hanoi. There are others, but those are the ones I have first-hand experience with.

Went to OPs profile to see what other design elements they liked, didnt see much else as far as room porn, but ended up reading through the weirdest freakin post history I’ve ever seen in my life lol

Nice execution of the style but I’m just not a fan personally. Too busy/ornate

This really speaks to me, but i can’t quite place my finger on why.

Pretty, but uninviting, busy and old style. I can not imagine ever enjoying being in this space.

Yeah I have no f clue about design or anything, but it looks very nice.

Gorgeous but also looks incredibly uncomfortable

Looks like what I imagine the Tea Room looked like in the “Three Body Problem” book.

Wow, this living room looks very elegant and atmospheric, feel is a good fusion of Chinese and European style, and it looks very cultural heritage, feel that the people living here are very cultured and high-level family, I like this style.

    This is great!

Just the right amount of bright colour, the right balance of pattern and plain, and the right amount of stark black and white contrast so that no one of those things overwhelms everything else.

    Lovely.
