How does it feel to live my dream!! My personal taste would be to put Tiffany style lights above the island with green, gold & copper stained glass. But I’m a maximalist at heart 😉

Not a fan, overall – the floor tiles and wrought iron recall the bad end of the 1970s, and that arch looks like it was cut by an amateur armed with a blunt jigsaw and a strong aversion to marking their cutting lines.

The terracotta floor was a horrible choice for an otherwise unimaginative room. Why do designers choose elements that will look dated so quickly?
Holy crap that kitchen looks so much worse in the other pics.. the upper cabinets are a nightmare of improper spacing, that gap around what I’m guessing is a structural member?
A homeowner may really want sage green cabinets and terracotta floors, but this was not the way to give them that.
The red range feels like it belongs in an entirely different house.

What the heck are those stools doing there? They are useless. If you sit on them, your knees would be at the counter height of the island. Also, because the island has no overhang, you’d be so far away from the surface that you couldn’t use it to eat or perform any kitchen tasks. And *even if* you have no intent of using them, they’re too tall to tuck under the island, meaning that they *will always be in the way*. The stools are actively making the kitchen worse and harder to use

this is beautiful, love the tile

The island is useless and the rustic terra cotta tiles clash with the cabinetry. Put in a functional island with storage that matches the cabinets and put in a dark green and white tile floor. And get rid of that red stove.

That is the type of kitchen flooring I love.

None of these things go together. I love the dark wood cabinets but the floor and sage clash with each other. That island is pretty but it’s not a functional island. It’s be better used as a console table in another space. Can’t believe someone paid someone to “design” this

I personally love these styles, I don’t like houses that are too match-y. This kitchen feels cozy and lived in!
