We had a NH family cottage with the same pine paneling look and this brings me back! However, the family cottage didn’t have insulation, heat or a foundation, so the comment about “Everyone can smell this room, not stinky . . . “; I would strongly disagree. My husband, who grew up summering in that cottage, was the only one not allergic. We tried so hard to mitigate the mustiness, but it is difficult in a seasonal cottage. Anyway, I love this photo! I picture Ralphie and Randy from “A Christmas Story” playing with the dinosaur and planes in that room!
