Why is there a whole area named after a Massive Attack album?

Gorgeous living space. Probably one of the most expensive ever posted on this subreddit, too. Haight-ashbury is one of the beautiful neighborhood I’ve ever seen but holy fucking hell does it cost some cash to live there.
When I lived in SF I was poor, sleeping on someone’s floor, stealing food from work so I could eat, weighed less than 100 pounds for two years (I’m short but still). When I wasn’t at work I would wander around neighborhoods in SF just to be somewhere safe and beautiful. There was a set of stairs I sat on once and watched the sunrise over the Haight and I just started sobbing. It was beautiful, so out of reach, and I was so alone, hungry, and scared. This was almost 20 years ago now and I still get emotional thinking about it.

Crazy I’ve been off my ass on acid and skated past this house at some point.

I know spiral stairs are very unsafe and very unergonomic on your body but they are so fucking nice

Spiral staircases are so dramatic and so cool, but… no. I wouldnt ever have one in my home.

It’s nice at first glance, but I don’t like how the dining room table looks so small in the space, and it’s a tight area with the buffet to the left hand side. The corner beneath the stairs looks like a catchall for plants and storage. In such a small space, I would have made that more functional.
I love the floors and artwork though

Can I just quickly say, not Victorian if it’s not in Britain. It is nice though.

I love this type of house, cuz it see so cozy and chill, and I don’t know why I imagine this house in the middle of the forest in winter, fall or spring.
PD: sorry if I have a bad english, I’m still learning.

NO THANKS- I had a spiral staircase in my apartment in college (bedroom up/bathroom down) what nightmare! Looks beautiful but impossible for real life.

Victorian but I don’t see a single unpainted beam. Disappointing

It looks stylish and at the same time quite cozy.
The cat and dog and rabbit are being real creepy
I would worry people would be running into the chandelier
