    A couple of extra details

    * There is going to be a large bank of cabinets (larger pantry, storage, etc.) on one of the opposing walls
    * Garbage cans will be separate
    * Island will be on wheels, so it can be moved around to create a more open space.
    * Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts!

Great initial layout, just a couple of potential items that may be worth noting:

    – that corner space would be perfect for open overhead cabinets, or the potential for a roller-cabinet sitting on the bench

    – if you are going for looks, centre your oven, cooktop and rangehood along the space between your fridge tall panel and where the 2 benchtops meet

    – if pure practicality is what you’re after, understand the minimum distance you can legally have a cooktop from a tall panel (it’s a thing here in Aus) and place your oven, cooktop, rangehood as far right as you can, that way you maximise your bench space and cabinet usage.

    – if your window should sit at a lower elevation to your bench height, take note that the splash generated from a sink may have a negative affect if allowed to fall behind that area (although this may just be incorrect in the design program)

I’m happy to answer any other questions you have, some things may be slightly different based on the fact that I am suited to Australian kitchens but good luck!
