The horizontal tiles are nice on its on but with the weird mis matched tile right above the stove throws off the clean lines of the background tiles. I would do the same tile setting for the whole wall if you want a seem less look.

I would consider painting the tile behind the burners … maybe the same color as your island. In all though, it’s a stunningly lovely kitchen even if you don’t change a thing.

Maybe it’s just me, but painting the hood above the stove could help accentuate the tiles and balance the color ratios a bit. But this is a lovely kitchen already.
