Like the idea but don’t like the execution

That shower looks pretty drafty. And it needs a handheld shower head, I don’t know why so many designer showers omit it when it adds so much utility.

Ok so I have a shower like this! So talking from suffering. Could I please know the best solution for keeping water in the shower area. I’m planning on installing a silicon U dam that you can step on without killing your food. Just wanted to get the internets second opinion

This looks cold and uncomfortable tbh

  5. I like the use of brass-coloured metal/alloy. Creates a very nice palette along with the grey of the concrete. Also the glass-and-blackpainted-metal almost never fails.

But overall, it doesn’t feel ‘closed’ or cozy enough. Doesn’t matter though, as long as that’s what they were going for.

I like the materials used but what’s with all the fake plants? I don’t quite under the need to fill space with things that are not needed.

I love this. It’s like showering in a greenhouse. I’d have plenty of *real* plants in there for sure!

I like the overall look of this sure but the wooden / bamboo towel holder gives you like 30 cm of walking room for actually getting into the shower? Also the tripod plant thingy just standing there in the middle does nothing but clutter.. Put it in the corner where it doesn’t take up any usable space and get rid of that towel holder, the other plant on the floor could also maybe be placed somewhere not on the floor…

The tiles on the wall are very similar to what I want for my kitchen floor so thank you for that ha

  10. * NO matter how careful you are, water is always going to escape that space.

    * This will be the coldest hot shower you will ever take in your life.

    * You’ll need to clean it after every use so that it doesn’t look like an eyesore for the rest of the room.

This is a situation where aesthetics overrides practicality. I know what sub I’m in, but man I would never ever want that in my home.

Those tiles are giving me r/trypophobia vibes

Do people just really enjoy their bathroom floors being soaked after showers? I do not get it

This is beautiful, it’s totally my kind of bathroom.

  14. Why do designers always forget to put in somewhere to put your legs on, not just for shaving but for reaching your freaking feet. It annoys me.

Oh thats beautiful. Hope the water drains well and does not flood. My wet room is very basic at the moment (havent decided what i want to do with it) but this is inspiring

Wouldnt this just flood the whole floor ie., mat etc or am I missing something?

  17. I wonder where the shutoff for those faucet handles are. That drain must be so easy to snake.

  18. Sweatybballz

Looks cold… And looks like it would flood..

I love it more than anything. Would be so cozy and great place to make my home.

Ps I am a fungus gnat

This room is so nice I would feel uncomfortable getting naked in there. Got vibes like a staged display room and someone watching me.

I’ll never understand a shower head that castscwater straight down. They suck. You need that water on an angle my friends, when it’s on top of you, you now need to stand directly beneath it. So now, water is on your head, running down your face, in your eyes…….Maybe I’m missing something, but i doubt it.

  22. Westlund

That shower head is way to close to the wall. Should have extended our twice as far

  23. PartyPay

Lots of comments about the draftiness of the open door style, but what are people’s options about the skylight?

  24. merino_london16

I swear I’ve seen a porno in this room

  25. S_aka_ShyNix

skylight in bathroom is rly illegal combo lmao it’s so good

I’m from the US, but spent a year and a half in Europe for school. What’s up with wet baths? or showers that are at risk of getting water everywhere? This shower is stunning, but the design priorities seem different between American and European showers.
