Don’t really love the way that the peninsula just fills up every space available. There is room to walk all the way around it but if there’s people sitting at the peninsula there’s not going to be. Also, what goes in the bay window area? They should be celebrated somehow IMO, it lacks purpose other than letting light in with this design.

In my opinion islands never look right when they are angled, especially when bent like this. I would prefer a straight island with less or no seating and a comfy banquette in the bay window for 5. I think whatever you end up going with, I love all the light you’ll get with the windows and slider. You also have a nice layout for the sink, stove and fridge triangle.

It seems to me like the bay window area is the perfect place for banquette breakfast nook. If you take that route, you might be able to fit a smaller rectangular island or a light counter-height table that could function like an island.

this is probably a bit messed up telling you so late but I would have deleted the sliding door and put a single glass door either side of your bay window for symmetry. That way you could have a full wall of bench/cabinets along the back wall and have a massive island right in the centre with room to fit a small dining nook roundtable where is the bay window is.
