Swipe to see before. We love to entertain and had to find a way to be able to do it in a small house. Aprx 18’x12′. Island is almost 50″x98″. With no stovepipe or sink in the island, we are able to comfortably fit 14 +/- adults around it, with seating for 8.

That literally went from a pretty unpleasant looking kitchen (looks cramped with little counter space) to something I’d totally put on my “dream house” inspiration boards – it looks amazing!

Perfect size kitchen for that size house I’d say…people gather and entertain in or near their kitchen so it makes sense. I love LOVE no uppers, love the simplistic and modern looking cabinets too. You’ve got to be beaming with pride over this. Great job!

I think it looks great, the only thing is I think you’re going to need more storage over time. Where’s the pantry? My daughter had a 960 sq foot cottage 3/1 they just sold last year for more space as the baby became a running 3 yr old. It was a decision of opening up or buying bigger. There never seemed to be enough space at their house.
