I think you definitely need a half door there. Seems super dangerous to open a door expecting level flooring and getting stairs going down.

I love it! Just donโ€™t put anything on that black ledge that wouldnโ€™t also look great downstairs

Really nice job given the layout you were working with

Fantastic job! A really good solution to make that stairway work with the space that you have.

I just specโ€™d those same pendants for a project Iโ€™m working on, the space looks great!

Is the transition from wood to tile pretty seamless? I currently have wood floors and we are going to have to cut it out and redo subfloors and add tile to make it seamless. One contractor said itโ€™s hard to keep it seamless and that the edge opens up over time. Did you/your contractor do anything special ?

I loveee this island design, I’ve never seen this before. What a great use of space to make sure there’s an entryway for the door. I could never have open cabinets at that level though, my dogs would just be like mmm let me get a little taste of everything lol

This is great design and quality execution JMole3. Here comes my only negative, the pendant lights. The aesthetic is super modern and concise and then there are hangy downs blocking my view of it all. That is all I would say, and this from hundreds of miles away.

This is so well designed to be used for hours too, incredible design, is the garbage can part of the cabinet system?

I love this! Do you have a link to the lights you used in the shelves?
