Trying to figure out if I should fit a 12 inch wide cabinet alongside my oven in this C-shaped kitchen. On the one hand the oven in the middle would look symmetric, whereas the 12 inch cabinet – which would be added on the wall as well – gives more space.
I’m worried adding the cabinet will ruin the look and would require shifting the exhaust hood too close to the right cabinet. Any thoughts/opinions/recommendations? Which option would you go for?

I would keep the exhaust hood centered between the two cabinets, which means the stove would need to be centered, too.

I would also keep the range centered.
I would center your range and put 6 inch pullouts on each side. Rev-A-Shelf makes some useful inserts. Check out this one for [frying pans, utensils, magnetic spice tins, etc](https://www.richelieu.com/us/en/category/kitchen-and-bathroom-accessories/kitchen/base-cabinets/sliding-storage-systems/between-cabinet-mounting-fillers/rev-shelf-pull-out-base-filler-with-stainless-steel-panel/1052119).
