That looks really nice! Here in the states it seems that dark or royal blue paired with gold is way over used to me, that and grey everything. There is a tv show called flea market flip where people will buy stuff and upcycle it into something different; gold and royal blue seem to always be the go-to for paint options, as if they have 55 gallon drums of it. This accent wall fits the room really well though, well done!

We just put up long LR drapes in that same blue, on two sides of the room. We have an oriental rug with touches of the blue, and mission-style furniture, so it looks very similar. I was a bit wary of the strong color, but turns out we love it.
