Hi! I am starting reno on my kitchen – new cabinet faces, counters, sink, appliances etc. I just want something neutral since we are going to sell probably in the next 2 years or so – thinking white cabinets, white with gray veining counters, and subway tile. Do you think that is still “in style”

Is this kind of what you had in mind? https://pin.it/3HskrXM
Everything you described sounds timeless so I say go for it.
I am curious, can you do stacked cabinets to take advantage of the empty space? It might be worth looking into if you’re selling.
IDK if you’re planning on changing the floors, but the repeating pattern just doesn’t look right with what’s supposed to be a wood plank.
White kitchens will always sell I think, but more important is just to update the appliances and pick something that makes you happy 🙂
I think white kitchens are passe. But, a lot of buyers are…
apologies I fell asleep there
still looking for one.
I think white cabinets would be fine. It’s the white/ gray combo that has been overused. Maybe look into a color other than gray for the counters. Pinterest has been helpful for me to see the different option.
Are you renovating for your own use and taste or for resale value of the house? If the latter then white is a safe choice. Subway tile backsplash I feel is a bit over saturated, especially in a white kitchen context. But maybe it still has appeal for buyers.
