The latest week, natural wine shops in Denmark has been removing their wines from Sebastien Riffault.
This happens simultaneously with a newly released article, also in Denmark, saying that a succesfull natural-winemaker has raped, harassed, stalked and / or sexually assaulted them in any other way.

Is there any information regarding Riffault specifically? I can’t seem to find the relationship between him and this article

It’s just my 2 cents, but my girlfriend has been harassed by Riffault through Instagram continuously from the moment he came to Amsterdam. He contacted her out of the blue and kept asking her out, even after also meeting me. He seemed a nice guy in person, we spent a lot of time together, but still. The evidence doesn’t lie. So I’m not 100% surprised.

The wine bar I work at had a visit from him this autumn, one of my female colleagues were VERY uncomfortable in his presence because he was so handsy… he also refused to talk to companies of all male guests, but would happily sit down and talk with female guests in order to get closer to them… absolutely disgusting
He came to my work for an event to talk about his wines. He was very handsy, only wanted to talk to women and even made a move on me. He than added me on instagram where he sent me friendly messages. I didn’t answer every time and was really not interested- barely answering him. I decided to stop answering him since I realized he was just a desperate man whom I should not interact with. Even if I stopped answering, he started sending me some strange pictures of hands touching… until he eventually sent me a naked pic of him.
is this true?? why isn’t the wine industry going public with this?
Well, @lisalinddunbar her stories about the ‘mystery rapist winemaker’ don’t lie. Fucking hell, actual sexual assault, following women to their homes and trying to get in and have sex with them. Holy fuck
Noticed all Wine Shops and restaurants in Copenhagen (including Noma) – even their very close collaborator Rosforth&Rosforth have removed his wines.
Only saw it now and I’m speachless. Worked with his wines, met him and hung out with him on events and also after. Hearing this shocks me! Now its on people from the (really small) industry to adress the issue, take actions and most importanty get aware and stay awake! It’s not only the high rank power men from film industry. It’s among us all!
