My one quibble is that this is more of a reno versus a remodel (I’ve run into that distinction with building permits). I mention that because I have to do a remodel and got really excited to see how someone spent 10k on a kitchen remodel.
Remodel: tearing out walls, ceiling, floor, etc. in short, the wholesale restructure of a room.
Reno: updating the existing structure with cosmetic changes.
