100% Sauvignon from Saint Bris, 10 months in barriques. Raphaëlle Guyot learned winemaking by Cyril Fhal (amongst others) and it shows. Very reductive at first, this wine started to open itself after 30 minutes or so. The nose is fresh, with notes of Meyer lemons and citrus. The wine is energetic, tense and massive without lacking any delicacy. It reveals citrus, saline and also white flowers, with the texture of the barriques. The final is persistent, with elegant bitters. A great take on Sauvignon, and a great winemaker to follow closely.

Thank you for the excellent write up, I rarely ever have Sauvignon for Saint Bris but this sounds fun.
