Lovely! I’m in the planning phase on my kitchen and trying to figure out where I can pull in some wood elements to warm it up. This design does so nicely.
However, anyone have feedback on a wooden hood like this for true home cooks? Is it easy to keep clean, does rising steam and grease not cause issues? We currently have a center island with a downdraft which we HATE (they are garbage for cooking fragrant, garlicky food), so I’m wanting a hard-working hood but I’m intrigued by this wood look.

I’m just not a fan of integrated pulls; they make the kitchen look too much like an office IMO.

Did the vent come stock like that or did you do some sort of wrap on it? Do you know if it will hold up without peeling etc?
