I am currently having struggle to decide which kitchen theme to choose.
The matte anthracite / blue one is really eye catching, but im scared that i cannot look at it in 5-10 years. The wood one is a little more timeless and calm imo.

Both Kitchens have same Layout (Cabinets,…), its just about the fronts

Are those the only options?

Go for blue kitchen main run, with a white island, don’t mix blue with that wood effect IMO,

I’m confused which one is modern and which one is timeless.

We have almost this exact design and mixed color and wood. What size are those middle cabinets in the second design? They look very narrow. And if you hang any pendant lights over the island, it might look odd with the seating off to the side (though I do like that look!). We also did a reveal on the island instead of a waterfall edge. The counters and backsplash were $12k already. Adding the waterfall would add a lot. And keep in mind, you may have to add power outlets to each end to meet code and that will affect the look (and price).
They are just different colours of modern. I would be changing a few things. I would add an upper row, bring it to the ceiling, if you don’t have room then I would extend the current wall cabinets to do it. Swap the sink and stove so you don’t have a range hood coming down in the middle of your kitchen. The sink like it currently is will be a pain to use, also allows you to have a decorative hood cover which would be a focal point and really add some character. Get some glass in there (in the uppers perhaps). Lastly have a light valance and some crown moulding.
Not sure on your budget though and this is just more to my personal taste.

Modern hands down

I vote for the brown. I agree it’s more timeless. Also agree with other recommendations to build cabinets up to the ceiling and swap the stove and sink.

I like the all brown – you can choose hardware for cabinets and other accessories.
I guarantee you will tire of the all brown before you tire off the blue. Maybe not ALL dark brown? Why not mix up the dark and light wood like you did with the blue and light wood?

The blue doesn’t go with the other colors in the scheme, so my preference is #2.
