  1. Beautiful, but I wouldn’t want to have to be the person who has to clean that.

Awesome floors in the home however.

I love it, but holy shit, that, in Sydney? Impossible.

I understand taking the floor tiles up the back wall when there’s a either a degree of contrast or your floor tiles are much nicer than your wall tiles. But here, because the floor tiles are large, generic-looking, and matchy-matchy in colour, it just looks like they cheaped out on the back wall.

It’s silly, because clearly nothing here is cheap. It mars an otherwise cool room.

Everything not black will show on that floor. Every bit of dust, hair and water drops will show. edit- which means it’s a shit design….I don’t care who is cleaning it.

    This is so damn pretty.

It’s way too dark, and I would hate having to do personal hygiene things in that space, but its stunning to look at.

It’s beautiful. I’ve never seen a dark bathroom before and I love it!

This is pretty! But I would love to see a “normal” or non-professional picture. Like how dark is it in this bathroom during the day?

It’s more r/designdesign. A window on height of the hips in front of the toilet and the bath tub. On top it’s dark even in bright daylight. Looks nice, though.

This place rules. I love the contrast.

I prefer darker interior colours myself and am sick of white being used in over-abundance in many home designs just because “it makes the space look bigger” as if a space can only feel comfortable if it’s “big”. darker colours make me feel comfortable because it’s warmer and cozier looking. I do like some contrasting elements though, like I might have gone silver with the sink or white or brown for the floor tiles. But overall I love it, especially the window arrangement on the wall.

As I said in another comment so many of my favourite homes on this sub are in Sydney. As someone who lives in the outer (cheaper) extremities of this city these houses are so near yet feel so far as lifestyle (and budget) varies so much from one side of Sydney to another. I could only dream of having a place like this in a part of Sydney that’s actually considered worth living in for reasons other than just *work*. If I win the lotto I at least wouldn’t have to move very far, yet my lifestyle (and home) would be vastly different and I’d definitely be coming to these local designers for my new home.

Peeing in a black toilet is a wild time.

Nothing says 1995 like a full-on black bathroom. It’s kind of why you don’t see them anymore. Even Vegas doesn’t do them anymore.

Perfect bathroom when you have a bad hangover.
