I’m sure there must be several other decent places to try some natural wines in this city but I’m fairly new to natural wines. It was nice to find a lounge that makes their own and offers some flights and samples so that one may gain some more experience of what’s out there. Apparently they ferment them in large clay pots in what I believe I was told is an old world style from the county of Georgia.

What kind of special opening instructions do the bottles have? They look like standard Pet Nat from the picture.
What’s it called?
dachi, elephant, juice bar, bar susu, wildthing….
love the room at St. Fabrique but find it massively overpriced.
Honestly, if you’re trying to get into natural wine. Juice Bar is, in my opinion, the best place in Vancouver to discover stuff as they have a lot of wines by the glass, and they also import wines that only they get in BC (Bruno / Gerard Schueller for example). The liberty wines shop on Commercial Drive has a good selection of wines. Probably a good place to go to when you have an idea of what you like. The salespeople there are very helpful!
Their qvevri natty is pretty decent albeit a bit overpriced – great vibe in there tho!
How beautiful is this space! I was there a few weeks ago. Also……Juice bar!!! Amazing selection and vibe. And then Pizza Coming Soon (look it up, they don’t actually serve pizza) was an delicious spot with a great natty wine selection, many of which were from BC. Try the Scout Orange Wine if you get a chance!
