
Advice on kitchen tile options. I’m not sure I want metro tiles. In hindsight I’d probably have just preferred upstands and a glass splashback. but now I’m not sure I’ll enough offcuts to make upstands, in which case it’ll have to be tiles. Open to ideas

That kitchen is pretty monotonal. You could bring some interest in with a textured tile in a toning colour. Something like this.

We just did put in slightly oversized, white subway titles in our modern/showy kitchen and I kinda regret not going with something a bit more unique. If we did it again, I might try a smaller square tile, still in while, but use a really bright grout that matches our accent colors.
We just got a really fun backsplash. Not for everyone, but we love it!

Yes, our kitchen has white cabinets and light gray quartzite countertops. I would post a photo but I don’t know how 🤣
White picket tile and gray grout will look great, post when it’s done!
