I designed and built this custom kitchen in the addition on a 220yo Federal style farmhouse in upstate NY.

The mixed look fits nicely with the age and style of the home. It feels cozy and like it is a kitchen people actually cook in. Love the knife holder, is it cleanable? And I really like how the sink area is set off from the other surfaces.

I dig that cutting area. Great idea for the knives.

Very nice! Curious about the soapstone (love it) and why you chose that vs. a locally / regionally sourced material (noting the use of reclaimed wood used elsewhere)? And are those wax candles in the sconces??

Easily the prettiest kitchen I’ve ever seen on here. Beautifully done!

I love it because it fits the style of home so perfectly. And I love the use of color!!

PS, send a fresh loaf of sourdough my way please!

Beautiful! Do you know the name of the blue paint color around the fridge?

Well done, you did a fantastic job, color appropriate. I particularly love the way the faucet has been given ample space to clean behind it and the window behind the faucet for herbs is a dream come true. Today’s Thanksgiving day, hope you cooked a good one.
