So on this project I was the designer (chief architect software), cabinet assembler (Cabinet Joint custom RTA aka conestoga cabinetry), demolition, plumber, electrician, cabinet installer, appliance installer, tile installer, trim carpenter. I subbed out hardwood floor installation, drywall install/finishing, and countertops. Demo to functional with countertops was 87 days, I do have a day job in IT so this was mainly solo on the weekends and about a week of PTO. Planning is by far the most critical component to a successful kitchen renovation.

Beautiful. I love the soft grays on the backsplash and the lighted display cupboards. And the island with the sink with a garbage disposal. You have 4 ovens! This is definitely a cook’s kitchen.

While I have moved away from green shag carpeting, I still like the look of wood grain. Looking at the original I would not have made a change. Anyone else agree?
Is the sink in the island used much? I don’t have that and I’ve never found myself thinking that’d be handy.
