hi kitchen addicts! What would be a ballpark estimate to have this single bowl quartz cut out to fit a double?

Finding the right sink is the tough part. It has to be larger both forward and width, but not so big that it can’t be gotten into the cabinet and lifted up. Flanges on the sink included. Then you need flange clamp slots underneath. Getting the countertop off of there is unlikely without breaking it. Just the right size.

Opening it up will probably be a $1k. At least where I work. Don’t go with the lowest bid. You’ll be looking at that cut forever.

Alternatively, you could buy a dish tub for under $10 and store under the sink when not in use.
(I am one that just does not get double sinks- you can always make a “double” with a temp container but can never make a big single from a double!)

In our market nobody would touch that project. Huge liability with no payout.
