i’m not messy by any means but keeping my fridge display ready at all times is quite a feat – it’s a no from me

If you buy, really expensive. Tupperware and clean it out once a week then go ahead

I wonder if it would force me to be tidier? But also, I thought I read somewhere that a glass door is not as good for insulation. Did I dream that? In theory, I love the look. In practice, I have five young kids and it would always look untidy and have handprints all over it.

Yes. I always imagined this to have. And I don’t care if it looks a bit messy. I’m not hiding my chaos 🙂
What’s the brand? Cannot read.

You guys can’t afford these refrigerators
clumsyninja2
you should expose things you want to display so if you want to display your leftover takeout etc by all means go for it

Yes for the wine, no for the rest. My fridge won’t look presentable!

But because there’s no shelving on the door, you’ll have deeper shelves inside and things will get even more lost way at the back.
Looks great, but seems impractical.
On the other hand, it seems great for a wine or drinks fridge.

No, and not because I can’t keep it neat or because I don’t have cute containers. I just don’t like the visual clutter of open storage.
I can tell that image 4 struggles with it too, because instead of doing what makes sense and putting drinks in one and produce in the other (the two types of items there is the most of)… they chose to split the items up into both fridges. So which fridge do you take from when you’re cutting up some fruit for a snack? Do you go to both? They’re trying to make it nicer to look at, because with normal usage it isn’t.

Love it! My friend has this in her kitchen and it’s gorgeous.

My fridge is never organized.

I’m a kitchen designer and these kitchens are giving me the chills on every level. I see so many design flaws. Not to mention the horrible color combinations. The open fridge is also a big no.

For a wine or drinks fridge? Sure.
For a regular fridge? Not on your life.

I wouldn’t do this for the same reason I’m not keen on doing a ton of open shelving: too much organization work.

I like the idea of having two fridges, one at the standard 33 or 34 degree F, and one at 45 or 50 for herbs, fruit, wine, etc. Anyone know the brand one these or what that style of refrigerator is called?

Leftovers don’t always look appealing. Or radishes you forgot you had or buttermilk you intended to use by didn’t…
