I love that kitchen so much. Such an unusual combination. And the backsplash!

my new apartment will have high ceilings and i have low furniture.. i’ve been wondering how it’s going to look. i think this convinces me a need a gigantic canvas over the sofa.

I love the color palette, the painting and the even the choice of furniture but holy cow those couches and seats are low! Lord have mercy on anyone with bad knees or a bad back.
Otherwise it’s a really nice space.

I lived nearby for ten years, went down the path of cool polished concrete floors, however, my wife and I got sore feet, next build we used recycled hardwood timber, feet are much better. Looks ain’t everything!

Beautiful. I grew up in Byron Bay. Refreshing to see a post from home!

I wish people did barn conversions where I live but instead they just keep tearing them down to build new suburbs and sell the boards to hipster restaurants

“barn residence” — they’re calling them barndominiums now. (how and why did my spellchecker know that word??)
