Taking the page from Spotify’s book, I’ve uncorked a year of drinking and writing about wine.

    Most played genre: Light Red

At the start of the year I would RARELY drink a red, and so the project began. At the end of the year, I can confidently say I’ve drank more reds than any other kind of wine. Light reds are VERS, the glou holding the community together. Great in winter or summer, great with food or without, great during the day or at night.

On repeat: Hoof & Lur by Troupis

Bright neon in the glass & a little funky, everyone has a good time pounding this bottle. I’ve brought this bottle to parties, and I’ve had it on a random weeknight. Nice enough to be a present, but affordable enough to be an everyday wine. One of those wines I always pick up when I see it somewhere.

    Producer pick: Barbichette

From the first bottle: hooked. It’s so exciting to drink wine made by great people, made super locally in Bed Stuy, with fruit sourced from the Finger Lakes. Every wine is a hit – stunning light reds, oranges with the punch of gewürztraminer that I love, and bright bubbly pet nats. Really looking forward to seeing how they grow into 2023.

That Bailey A from Grape Republic was a real leg sweeper!
