It’s not exciting but honestly, exciting isn’t something I look for in a room I’m only ever in to sleep. I don’t love it but it’s a pretty solid bedroom, and I like the inclusion of the fireplace.

I’m with FLR on this one, bedrooms are for sleeping. All that space, complicated high ceilings and bland but also somehow ostentatiously simple/classic design are a waste that could be used elsewhere in this probably expensive watered down iteration of a home. It looks well done, but horribly insensible to what a person really needs when they’re going to bed. Whatever, it’s fine, but personally I’d give it a 2.5/10 on a room porn rating. There’s nothing clever, intriguing or outstanding in this space.

If they changed that grey to a nice green, then I’d like it a lot more.
Otherwise, on the one hand this is far too large for a bedroom. But, if there is something like a lounge area behind the camera, and this is more like a parent’s retreat in a larger family home, then that would be good. I have a large family and I love ’em, but when we are all together, it gets loud…. having a quiet area where the introverts could retreat from it all for a few hours I would love.

Chairs are too far away from the fireplace. Lamps are useless where they’re at. All that cash and the comforter is a size too small The room is overwhelming but I’m oddly underwhelmed.
