I respect the craftsmanship, but I feel like if you took out the light wood then it’ll look like a prison.

Omg that perforated screen/shutter thing is to screen the bathroom from ‘adjacent public parkland’ 😱 so I can’t imagine when you’d be leaving them open like that – personally I need more privacy.
Big shame as most of the loveliness comes from that view
