Will this rug work in my living room?

Slowly working on trying to make my house more comfy. I acknowledge I’ve been very safe with blacks, whites, and greys for years, so it’s time to change it up! Majority of this rug would be covered since I’ll be putting it under my couch to help prevent some of my cat’s toys from sliding under there. Is it too much or just the right amount of fun?

ETA: what do we think about ruggable? Is it not as great of quality as I’m thinking it is? Any other company people like better?
