I just moved into a new home and it came with this TV mount. It seems to be missing the piece to attach the TV. I've never mounted a TV before and struggle to understand what piece I need to buy to mount a TV with a VESA of 300×300 that would fit into this. Any ideas?

As far as I can tell, all you’re missing is the TV and the bolts that connect the tv to this mount
Did you save any of the remaining hardware when you purchased your TV? The last 2 I purchased came with the pieces you would need to mount the TV.
If there wasn’t any additional hardware, then I would look at your TV manufacturer’s site to find the proper hardware assembly.
