What am I doing wrong?

First 3 are my pictures of my living room/some dining room. Last 3 are my inspo. I am disappointed and suck at this. I feel like nothing is flowing and I can’t reach my inspo. Other then ambient lighting what am I doing wrong and what can I do to fix this….
