Hello. I am moving into this home with beautiful, large windows and need to decide on window treatments (cue analysis paralysis). This south-facing window is in the breakfast nook off the kitchen and looks out to a moderately trafficked intersection. (View of neighbor’s house blacked out for privacy.) I think light filtering curtains would look great, but I’m also considering woven wood shades. My husband wants top-down/bottom-up shades so we can have privacy but still enjoy sunlight and see birds, etc. Would that look too chaotic? Should I get three shades, one for each window, and how should I mount them? Thanks in advance.
