Just bought a house! Calling all creative people, I’m a visual person so it’s hard for me to determine what would look nice in this space, love seeing all the creative ideas on this page. How would you decorate it? Modern, cozy, vintage, etc!?

I think you should settle on what YOUR personality is first . You want your home to be reflection of you. When someone walks in they go “this is so you!” I’m a boho fan so my house is purely boho and art I’ve had created myself to fit in to my tastes. Chatgpt is great for visualizing what you want. Upload a picture of the room and prompt it to decorate for you using what you like farmhouse, modern ECT. You can edit and add things change things ECT to get a visual of what you want. Everyone will have an opinion but you want it dialed in to your particular wants

Question about the washer/dryer. Is it at the end of a hallway or a former closet?
I may be a minority, but I like the wide paneling on the stairs and the wall by the fireplace.
Will the far wall in the second picture be a dining room or is it all living room? It might be a nice accent wall for wallpaper if you like wallpaper.
I’d say start small. Look at couches – what ones work for you in terms of comfort, color, and style? That can be a good launching point.
