Hi lovely people of this sub. Just got this tile installed in our new home (both sides of our galley kitchen). We’ve always wanted a fun backsplash and splurged for this after buying our new home.

I love it, but at the same time something feels slightly off with it. Maybe it needs to be extended? Or just complimented by other color in the space?

Any thoughts, and really just reassurance, would be the best.

I think it looks great! Honestly, it’s probably a bit of a shock seeing it now because there’s nothing else around it. I think it will blend in with the rest of the kitchen once you have appliances and such on the counters.

It adds a nice pop of colour to the room, and I love the colour you chose!

Edit to add: if you want more colour, I think painting the walls by the fridge could bring it all together! Maybe a light shade of the colour you chose for the tiles?

I love the backsplash! If you still feel like something is off, you could consider a different paint color for the room walls or changing out the hardware. You have white cabinets and off white walls, so maybe that’s throwing you off?

I think it looks fine, just currently dark and empty! Add your countertop items and turn on some lights! They/you did a really good job tile laying!

I think it looks great! Perhaps you’re thrown off by all the white, so another complimentary color (or even plants, gold hardware instead of black, etc.) would make it even better!

Not sure it was worth splurging on per se since it’s so basic, but it does look great! Just unremarkable.

The issue is you now have 2 back splashes. You should have removed the 4” white backsplash before adding the tile. The tile should go all the way to the counter top.
