If you were to paint the walls in this kitchen, would you have them be similar to the color of the backsplash? We bought this house recently and all of the walls are white, so trying to find places we can add some color.
We have art coming to go over the settee that will add a lot of color, but still feel like there’s something missing.

I would paint the cabinets.
Nope. Looks clean and bright. White is fine
What walls? There’s like 6 sq ft of wall space. Hang a picture and a dish towel and it’s done.
Absolutely not.
No. It is missing something but what it is missing is art. Hang a large picture over the banquet and a small one over the trashcan and call it a day.
I would argue that the island cart is too small and wrong color for your kitchen. Sticks out in the wrong way/sense. Fridge looks dated as well, upgrade to either stainless steel or even black stainless steel to match the hardware.
An unfortunate pairing of backsplash and flooring. The rolling island is doing you no favors. As for paint colors you could go bold with the little bit of wall space there is.
The backsplash leans cool but you could offset that with a warm yellow.
Or you could lean into the cool tone of the backsplash and pair it with a cool color. A mint green.
What other colors do you have in adjacent rooms? Rugs, furniture? Consider flow when you choose your color.
