attached is pic of my grand room. and the AI image suggested for the drapery. was thinking of going with a two rail system with separate motors to open and control both separately. what do y'all think of this approach vs motorized shades per window. what do you think of the colors of the drapery. it's an east-facing window by the way.

Wow. I would avoid drapery at all cost. These windows are such a beautiful architectural feature! If fading or heat is an issue I would consider window film before any drapery. (It doesn’t seem like privacy is a huge issue since this isn’t a bedroom and neighbors don’t appear too close).

Re: color – your room is a blank slate atm. Kinda depends on everything else you do with the room – furniture, art, etc.
A friend of mine has windows like this and their interior decorator said these kind of drapes are outdated

Too late to install a niche in the soffit to contain blinds that can be powered down when you want privacy or a screen from the sun?
And AI made the draperies about 1/4 an inch too short. They should kiss the floor.
