I actually really like them! I think you should tie the colour in with other accents in the room though. Maybe consider painting the walls or at least some wall art with gold colours

This looks really clean and is a classic overall curtain design. My mid-century house came with floor to ceiling punch pleat curtains in the living room to draw across the large windows and it looks great IMO. I’m biased, of course. But I think this looks good and the color is nice! Better than the tan/grey/beige that is everywhere else. A little golden color is a nice touch!
