5 puttonyes Aszu – bought it at the Budapest airport.
On the nose it’s definitely honey maybe honeycomb, some apricots (but not sure if fresh or dried). Some caramel and nutty undertone but not massive.
It’s very sweet but acidity kind of balances it out so it’s very drinkable – of course slightly chilled.
Love how silky and oily it is – and it sits at 11.5%
Definitely good purchase and will go back to it.

Try the 6 puttonyes one if you can – it’s quite a bit sweeter but delicious at about 5 degrees!
