This was a pleasant surprise from a new producer in Sonoma(I’ve recently been very surprised by many young winemakers in the area)
2025 Palomino from century old vines grown on their own roots.
The nose: salty, citrus blossoms, and lemon verbena, slight reduction but the fruit dominates.
The palate: saline, sweet oyster brine, lemon curd, finger limes
The texture: acid driven, good weight but not full bodied by any means.
Probably great with seafood and charcuterie. I drank half with some sardines, Gouda, and a baguette.

Can report on the 2nd half of the bottle in a few days.
