Hide the tv cord with a cord cover or just pin it in the corner, build a frame around the mirror, maybe incorporate lights in the back of it, and frame the pictures on the wall, and hang the hula hoop along with a few other items maybe from hooks on the wall.

Minor effort, minor reward: take down all the papers/art on the wall and hang them around the mirror so they become the frame for it.

They sell peel and stick flexible molding trim you can get to frame it easily and cheap. Some are paintable.
Edit: Also, consider a bulletin board to pin your inso images.
