Wanting to add to my son’s room and not make it so boring as well as paint my room! I want to do a mauve but my mom says don’t do it I’ll regret it
Also want to add we want to decorate the ledge more I added my dads old wooden lock box since this photo was taken but the ledge isn’t wide enough and barely holds that
And removed the second fan😆we plan on eventually getting new light fixtures down the road as we just bought our house a few months ago

Rotate the bed to have your headboard against the wall with the ledge. TV and dresser on the wall to the left not shown in the photo.
Edit 1: didn’t realize they were different rooms at first and had to adjust.
Edit 2: I forget which culture considers putting your bed against a window bad luck. But I usually try to avoid backing my bed to a window because 1. It’s nicer to be in bed and able to look out the window and 2. It gets hot /cold next to a window depending on the season. Bugs can come in through gaps in a window. No thanks.
