I'm looking at buying dining chairs that have 2 seat color options, either a dark blue fabric or a faux black leather, and am torn over which to go with. Both read a little masculine to me (as a single women living alone), however they are reasonably priced and the walnut color is the closest I've found to my existing table. I have a black leather footstool in the living room and am planning a blue rug so both seem reasonable. The room paint is generic apartment light beige.
Just wanted to get other's thoughts, which do you think looks best? Any strong thoughts one way or the other? Is the black more classic, but blue less drab?

Black leather ages better and won’t show stains from spilled wine as much – plus it’ll match your footstool so teh whole place flows together
