Just got these last week. They work great, bad thing is I sleep facing the wall, when I wake up my eyes are filled with sunlight and they start to hurt for a bit. Any way to keep them closed?

You could get the style of curtain rod that curves around and touches the wall.

My kids call this the “serial killer gap” 😂

  3. Easier answer is to get a red or blue pool noodle and slip it vertically in the space. I did this when my spouse worked nights as a nurse.

  4. You can either do a turn back curtain rod or you could add some window framing.

Why not using a command strip that has Velcro? That way you can fully close it without being permanent.

I got myself the Ikea SCHOTTIS block-out pleated blinds which you simply stick on. I cannot live without them. So cheap too!

Put a strong magnet in the top and place something iron on the wall. Like a magnetic phone holder. Or a piece of nice oakwood to fill it out.

  8. Use magnets. Glue one to the wall and use the other on the curtain.

Cut a small slit in the curtain top and wrap it around onto the bracket

They sell curtain magnets! I just bought some for my baby’s room. They’re little pins that go in the curtain and then stick onto the wall. I put two on each side. They work pretty well!

  11. Search “Wrap Around Curtain Rod” on Amazon. Lots of choices and works great
