I like Oriental rugs because they are timeless and never go out of style. But I don’t like the colors you’ve picked out. I would look for a rug with the green of your walls in it. The first one is closer – but is kind of busy and will not be as timeless so its just a matter of preference. I do like the colors more. It also depends if you want the rug to be a focal point or feature of the room.
I definitely don’t recommend a color the same as your couch. Stay away from that.

I’ve always stayed away from.rugs with fringe. If you have any OCD tendencies you’ll forever be straightening them.
Second one’s cleaner but that busy pattern in the first one actually ties the room together better if your furniture’s kind of minimal.

I’d go for the second rug! It relates well to your sofa, and seems like it would coordinate with the rug in your dining room. While it is stylish, it feels timeless enough that you wouldn’t easily tire of it.
