I always dive deep in details when tasting something, down to Burgundy vineyard stories and descriptions. I've built a knowledge-base that helps me understand and learn for example:
- which vineyards neighbour each other
- which vintages are drinking well now
- where subregions are located within a region
- which grapes are the same but has different names
- which terroir details to look for when tasting etc.
I've gotten pretty far, and have more detailed maps than anywhere else (I've manually traced many of them). I'd love comments and feedback as to where I can improve it 😄 cheers!
